12 volt system is from AmplePower.com supplied from JackRabbitMarine.com.
After asking many questions and seeking advice and knowledge of the
IPDG, we decided on the following system. |

ProSine 2000 watt
inverter

The installation of the
Prosine 2000 is in the sail locker against the galley bulkhead. To make
room for this install, we needed to relocate the compressor for the
refrigerator.
Original placement of the refrigerator compressor and charger. The
Prosine
will be placed where the compressor was and the compressor. moved to the
charger location. |
|
 |
The move of the refrigerator compressor
and the custom mount of the inverter has created a lot of space in the
bottom of the sail locker for a future Gen Set. This space was wasted due
to the original position of the compressor. |

Fantastic custom
work by Rob Glebe! Rob built a custom stainless steel mount to straddle
the wire runs in this area. This allowed us to mount the inverter high in
the locker. Rob is good at building custom SS pieces and he is a real craftsman. Check
out his tig welding job on this install.
