Happiest Day of your Life....You know what they say. The two
happiest days of your life are the day you buy your boat and the day you
sell your boat! So here is that happy day for both couples. Sally and
Spencer were the original owners of IP35-165, named Fayth II. Thank you
Spencer and Sally for taking such good care of Fayth II, we love the boat.
Check out all papers to sign!

First
Haul Out...Fayth II was always wintered in the water, and we too will
be doing that. We hauled her out to paint the bottom and install the
through hauls for the AC/Heat unit. This photo really shows the scale of
the boat. This is Pelorus Marina, in Rock Hall, MD, their last season, the
yard has been sold to the state of Maryland to be turned into a state
marina. |

JB, Nicholas, & Shannon stop in for a quick visit. JB is a
former colleague of mine who enjoys boating, scuba diving, teaching, and
computers. Hey....why are they not on the crew list? Because we did not
leave the dock that day. You have to sail with us to be on the crew list. |

Heading
to Annapolis....We took off for this long weekend to enjoy our NEW
boat, heading to Annapolis, Magothy and Bodkin enjoying the quiet
anchorages and living on the hook. Heaven. |

Freddie,
Gail & Gregory....These crew members arrived via their Sea Ray 22'
for a tour of the new boat. Since the wind was ZERO, we went for a motor
boat ride and had a lovely lunch. |

A day that changed the world....We watched this event unfold live
during my 3rd period class with 25 high school seniors. As with the world,
we all could not grasp the reality of the day. |

Set
up the Enclosure...This is GREAT, thank you Spencer & Sally. We
really do enjoy this add on. This changes the cold weather days into
enjoyable days. The enclosure gives you another space to enjoy, even when
the wind is blowing or it is raining, you can enjoy the cockpit.

Celebration Day...This is our celebration of life day....End of Cancer
treatment! Radeen has been though 6 months of chemotherapy at University
of Penn, and 7 weeks of Radiation therapy at Grand View Hospital, and this
photo was taken on her last day of treatment! Being diagnosed with stage 2
breast cancer on December 22, 2000 we feel lucky to have this experience
behind us. Notice the logo on the T-shirt, Island Packet
Rendezvous. |

Annapolis Boat Show....
We
always take our boat to the boat show and dock at the Annapolis Yacht
Basin, right at the entrance to the show. Then on Saturday night we have
friends stop by at 5 or 6 for cocktail hours! After that we make dinner
and serve a wonderful meal. This year we broke from the traditional spaghetti
we have served for the past 10 years, and made homemade lasagna. We served
10 for dinner! A record.

End of Ist Season...What a wonderful feeling we have aboard this

we plan. Next season we are looking forward to a New England trip. Block
Island, Newport and Martha's Vineyard. |

Winter 2002
Rig taken off...With the boat being 8 years old and never having the
rig off, we thought it would be a good idea to inspect everything. Read
about the issues and concerns on the Of Interest
Page. |
