Cutter Boom Removed

Cutter Boom Removed.   I am experimenting with sailing the cutter without the boom. Tom Tursi owner of the Maryland School and Halimeda IP45, sails his cutter this way. With the cutter boom removed, the foredeck is greatly improved.  What is needed will be a tweaking line to pull the tack down. This will help with sail shape. Here are some photos of the sail with the boom off. Seems to work. Fall 2001
